Camila Castro is an Associate in the Arbitration and International Law department at Xtrategy in Colombia. She holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, where she was exempted from the thesis and judicial clerkship requirement in recognition of her academic performance. 

Before joining Xtrategy, Camila gained experience in litigation and dispute resolution mechanisms, including conciliation and arbitration. She has spoken at academic events such as the Colombian Congress on Procedural Law, and in 2023, she published a paper titled “El manejo del testimonio en la virtualidad.” 

During her law studies, she served as a teaching assistant for the Procedural Law department at her university and as an assistant in the Civil and Commercial Law area of the Legal Clinic. She was actively involved in research groups focused on procedural law and dispute resolution and represented her university in national and international competitions, including the national rounds of the 27th International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition and the International Procedural Law Contest, where she earned second place among 88 universities. 

She has also completed formal training in arbitration and conciliation, including a Diploma in Legal Conciliation that qualifies her to act as a conciliator, and a Course in Arbitral Secretariat and Skills.
