Camila Castro is a Junior Associate in the Arbitration and International Law department at Xtrategy in Colombia. She holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, where she was exempted from the thesis or judicial clerkship requirement.
Before joining Xtrategy, she gained experience in litigation and dispute resolution mechanisms, including conciliation and arbitration. She has participated as a speaker at academic events, such as the Colombian Congress on Procedural Law, and in 2023, she published a paper titled “El manejo del testimonio en la virtualidad”.
During her university studies, she was a teaching assistant in Procedural Law, as well as in Civil and Commercial Law at the Legal Clinic. She was also an active member of the Procedural Law and Dispute Resolution research groups. Additionally, she represented her university as a speaker in national and international competitions, including the national rounds of the 27th International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition and the International Procedural Law Contest, where she earned second place among 88 universities.
